Tim graduated from Dalhousie University - School of Physiotherapy in 2006. He previously attended UNB completing a Bachelors degree in Physical Education with a major in Sports Science 1998...
Upon graduation from Dal, Tim immediately started working in private practice Orthopaedics around the Halifax/Dartmouth area, and has been working as a physiotherapist in the local community of Mineville for the past 10+ years. He now has 14 years under his belt as a physiotherapist in clinical practice.
Tim has completed post graduate studies in Acupuncture, TMD, Manual Therapy, Movement Impairment Syndromes, Running Injuries, Core Strengthening, Mobilization of the Nervous System and Athletic Therapy Taping. Tim enjoys juggling family life with his wife and 2 sons, running a physiotherapy business, and the sport of triathlon (swim, bike, run). In Tim's past life he was a varsity swimmer for UNB, a Canada Games athlete, and a member of Team Canada at the age-group Triathlon World Championships in Beijing, China. He now challenges himself running the local Crowbar Lake trails between Lake Echo and Porters Lake as well as cycling the Eastern shore.
The skipper is in command of the ship and her crew, he may or may not be the owner of the boat.
Born in 2014 his seaworthiness and team leadership has been proven.
Second in command, his main responsibilities are for passengers, navigation and safety aboard the ship.
Born in 2017 he's still learning the ropes, but always ready to take the helm when asked.
